Check and share

Share links

Send a link instead of an attachment and see when, where and how often it is opened.

Create a link#

Open Share in the editor and create a link. Give it a name such as backend-roles, or leave it empty to use the resume's name. The link looks like shortlist.co.in/your-name/backend-roles.

Link options#

  • Pin this version: show exactly this version, or turn it off to always show your latest edits. You can switch any time.
  • Phone and email: hidden by default, so strangers can't scrape them. Choose Shown to show them to everyone. On Season Pass or Pro, Password lets anyone read the resume but only people with the contact password see your phone and email, on the page and in the PDF. If your plan ends, they stay hidden.
  • List on my public profile: show it on your profile page, or keep it unlisted.
  • An optional password and an expiry date.

Who opened it#

Each link shows its views, the number of people, where they came from, their approximate city, region and country, and their device. The Analytics page adds them up across all your links. Your own views while signed in aren't counted, and we never store visitors' IP addresses.

Detailed analytics#

With the Season Pass or Pro, the Analytics page also shows which weekdays and hours your links get opened, in your time zone, and compares your links side by side: views, how often someone opened the same link again on the same day, its top source and its views per day. Download CSV saves every view in the chosen range. Visitors stay anonymous: we can't tell you who opened a link or which company they work for.

Turn a link off#

Turn off this link makes it show a not found page straight away. Changing your username doesn't break links: old usernames keep redirecting.
