A screen recording of Shortlist: a marketing resume is imported from a PDF, the headline is edited, a job description is pasted and the AI tailors the resume, each suggested change is reviewed and one is skipped, the changes are applied, and the resume is downloaded as a PDF.

Read the job. Send one link.

The two steps around tailoring that take the most time when you apply, done for you.

Paste a job link, we read the job

Drop in a link from any job site. Shortlist pulls out the role, the must-have skills and the requirements, and shows which ones your resume already covers.

Send one link, not an attachment

Your link always shows your latest version, so you never resend a file. See when it was opened and from where, and keep your phone and email private.

Questions people ask

Who is Shortlist for?

Students, freshers and early professionals in any field: marketing, finance, HR, sales, operations, consulting, design, data and tech. Tailoring works on any job description.

Is it free?

Yes. The Free plan includes 5 resumes tailored to a job description in your first week, then 1 each month, plus 50 AI edits each month, and you can make and edit as many resumes as you like by hand. The Season Pass is ₹499 for six months if you are applying a lot.

Does the AI add things I haven’t done?

No. It only rephrases, reorders and trims what you have given it. Anything that looks new is flagged and left out unless you confirm it.

Will it pass applicant tracking systems?

Our templates are single column with real, selectable text, which is what these systems read best. The free ATS checker reads your resume the way they do and shows which job requirements it covers.

Who can see my resume?

Only people you send a link to. Links hide your phone and email by default, can have a password or an expiry date, and you can export or delete all your data at any time.

Do I need to know LaTeX?

No. Fill in the form and your resume is typeset for you. LaTeX is there if you want it, not required.

Can I bring my resume from Overleaf?

Yes. Paste or upload your .tex file. It compiles here as it is, and you can keep editing the code or convert it to the form editor.
